In Memoriam Peter Louwman

With his unparalleled passion and dedication to telescopes and other optical instruments, Peter has amassed a unique collection that has not only enriched our museum, but is also well known internationally. He enjoyed sharing his in-depth knowledge of the instruments and astronomy with his colleagues, fellow collectors and other interested parties. Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Peter Louwman. We hope they find comfort in the knowledge that his legacy lives on in the Louwman Museum.
