This book is a modern reprint of an extremely rare pamphlet from the King of Siam to Prince Maurits at The Hague. Only three copies of the rare pamphlet are preserved, one of which is in the Louwman Collection of Historic Telescopes. There are frequent references to this pamphlet in both old and new articles about the invention of the telescope.
